This guide follows the current client. Available actions depend on your empire, permissions and the release running in your world.
Read your cash position
Open Economy → Finance. The summary shows cash and annual cash in and out, including scheduled transfers. Compare recurring income with recurring expenses before committing workers, buildings or units. A current cash balance alone does not show whether the empire is sustainable.
Development Efficiency
Development Efficiency gives temporary civilian assistance to smaller and rebuilding empires. It increases staffed Commercial-building income and reduces eligible construction cost and time, then tapers back towards 100% as development grows.
Use the actual construction quote for your selected zones. A discount in one zone or batch need not apply to the next. Moving commerce workers into other jobs can also change income.
Administration and Military Support
Empire Operations shows administrative load, staffed capacity, direct costs, overload surcharge and any grace period. Use Empire Planning to compare staffing scenarios, then Buildings to apply assignments.
Military upkeep includes force and storage costs. Inspect Military Support on Military and staffing controls on Buildings to understand load and capacity. More buildings without enough staff may not solve the shortfall.
Audit what happened
- Market log: purchases, sales, quantities, fees and amounts.
- Transaction log: recorded money movements by type. Research Boost entries show actual extra charges, separate from the projected expense row.
- Arena Bets: bet payout plus bettor prize equals Total Return; subtract the stake for Net. Winner prizes are recorded separately.
- Arena Duels: 100 results per page. Previous and Next browse results; totals cover the displayed date range across all pages.
History covers the records available to that feature. A missing older transaction is not evidence that no money moved before recording began.
